#100happydays :day 23

Helloo :)

Oh my gosh I'm sooo tired aha :) As I've already written one post today because of not posting yesterday ( I explain here ) it turned out longer than expected so I will keep this short to avoid falling asleep at school tomorrow ... again ;) So today as I have mentioned I was practically asleep for the morning and to be honest a little bit moody. I didn't really notice anything good about the day until I got home and realised it was actually an okay day when I thought about it and all the things being moody made me miss like getting given the position of prefect, my science teacher showing me kindness and not getting annoyed about me sleeping in her lesson ;) a woman smiling at me when I held the gate for her and best of all my amazing mum bought me a new onesie ! :D But this isn't just any onesie . Oh no this is a Thumper from Bambi onesie ! Literally the best present ever :) So I think it's important to remember to never give up on a day and just label it as a bad day because there's still time to make it better . Please don't waste too much of that time being sad about something you can't change because you never know how much time you have ...isn't that an optimistic thought aha :) I'm sure you have lots of time left but I'm just saying,  just in case and lots of people would give a lot for your time so use it wisely because there's no point in having something as beautiful as a life and not using it :)

#100happydays: day 14 ( I have a Pygmy Puff)

Heyyy :) 

Today I went to the Harry Potter studio tour in London and it my AMAZING :) I had such a great time and I highly recommend going if you ever get them chance because seeing all the sets and props is simply magical ... an well the gift shop is literally a potter head's haven  :)

As a result of my trip to the gift shop ... my hour long, really could have happily stayed there longer just in the gift shop ;) I bought a purple pygmy puff. 

Everyone ; meet Alaska ( If anyone is wondering then yes she is named after Alaska out of John Green's fantastic book Looking for Alaska) 

 Isn't she just the cutest little thing :) I saw her and the pink ones on the shelf and fell in love with all of them however I could only have one :( I choose a purple one for two reasons :

1) In the book Ginny's Pygmy Puff Arnold is purple ( They change it to pink in the film ) 

2) Carrie Hope Fletcher has a purple one :) I'm aware this is a pathetic reason however it is still a reason and by now you should probably of realised that my love for Carrie is Uncontrollable ;) 

So today's #100happydays photo is my new Pygmy Puff to represent the great day out I just had ... and my love for colourful fluffy things ;) I also decided today that I am for the Hufflepuff house and am proud :) I'd love to hear what house your in and why so feel free to comment your house and your favourite of the films/books because I'm interested :) My favourite of the films is Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire I think it's got a good story line as can be said for all of them aha and it's not got scary yet ( which is kind of an essential for me ;) ) 

I also found some awesome Harry potter merchandise on Etsy I might do an Etsy haul at some point because pretty handmade things make me happy .. let me know if that's something you'd like to see :) I loved the Time turner necklace which you can get versions of ridiculously cheap on Etsy and I really liked the Golden snitch necklace. I don't have many necklaces but I really like them so I'm definitely going to start buying more of them :) 

If your interested in positive quotes , fitness and pretty little things ( I've basically just re-worded the blog title there ) So if you're here because you like the stuff I'm talking about then if you wanted to have a look at my pinterest then I spend lots of time procrastinating on there and finding cute merchandise I like mainly off Etsy and work outs and stuff ... damn these descriptions are getting worse and worse ;)

Little Hopeful

Over the Summer I'm going to try and read all of the Harry Potter series because I'm really interested and feel like I should considering my obsession with it ... I know, I know; it's really bad that I haven't already read them but I'm going to sort that asap :) It's just there's so many books I want to read .. there's probably enough time to do so only I want to read them all ... right now . 

I know this is a little different to my normal style, I  don't usually just talk about my day but I hope you enjoyed it all the same  :) I thought for today a Harry Potter quote would be fitting :) I rather like this one on yesterdays subject of laughter making you feel better ... Oh Luna your so right :)

Interesting fact ... well not that interesting if I'm being honest with you but its really cute :

Baby hedgehogs are called hoglets :D

 

I feel better now I've told someone that :) Now , on with the post . Today's #100happydays changed about ten minutes ago when I got a text from my friends saying "have a look in your bag" so I did ... I found an origami hearts just like the ones I frequently make with letters in an put in people's bags ... she'd done the same for me :) I don't mean just a note though, I mean a full on letter and it was beautiful and it meant so much to me :)

 

 

Hopeful notes are something I'm extremely passionate about as you would probably of guessed from the amount I talk/ waffle about them ;)
However when you know someone personally and you know they really aren't feeling great well perhaps you know them well enough to write them a  whole letter :) Letters aren't as commonly written nowadays with the ever increasing use of social media and mobile phones ( don't get me wrong I use them a lot and I think they're fabulous inventions) However I do love a good letter :) I think they're wonderful to receive and great to write ... I like to write mine with each paragraph in a different coloured pen , just to brighten it up ;) In addition too my love for letters and coloured pens I love stationary and projects ... you know those people who get annoying enthusiastic about a new project they've taken on. So they just dance around as the positivity of a new passion rains down on them , the good sort of rain where you can already see the rainbow before it stops because the sun's shining so bright ... yeah I'm one of them :) I've been to WHSmith's because you can't start a project without new stationary that's the rule right ? That better be the rule ... If it's not I've well umm consider it officially changed so that is the rule because seriously any chance for new stationary especially notebooks is like someone handing me a ticket to heaven .. I did warn you I was one of those ;) So firstly I'm going to try and write a letter to a friend once a week. Just one that looks like they need ; as Jodi Ann Bickley calls it " a hug in a envelope" .Secondly there is a fantastic website called PostPals that allows you to write to seriously ill children which you can find here : http://www.postpals.co.uk/
Imagine how much a surprise letter could brighten the day of an ill child or a sibling. It takes like ten minutes to write a letter. I'm always saying how we don't know how many minutes we have left but for a lot of these children they're pretty sure they have less minutes than us and I think it would be awesome if we could put a smile on their faces for some of those minutes :)

So let's try brighten some days :)
